So. My interview yesterday went really well ... I got a call today and they want me to come in for a second interview on Friday at 11. YAY!!!!! So that is exciting! :o)
Let's see, on Saturday Eric and I ventured out to the malls. I got three nice pairs of pants from The Limited for $15 each, and some tights to match the dress that I got for the party. I also got a sweater from Target that is very soft and was also only $15. We got a few other things, too, but I can't remember. Oh, we finally used our gift card from Sharper Image that has been in Eric's wallet for years and we bought one of those 20 Questions things. It is so smart! We went home for just a little bit and then I met Marianne and Greta at Stonybrook to see "Enchanted." I loved it! :o) We had B-Dubs for dinner and then Marianne came over and we were lazy the rest of the evening.
On Sunday, Eric went to church to do media and I was a bad wife and stayed in bed instead of going with him. We went to tour the new gym (it was Gold's, but they sold it or something? and now it's Urban Active Fitness) and thought about joining but decided to wait and see if I get this job. Then we went to my parent's house for a while to watch some tv and then met Marianne at Outback to spend some quality time with Lindsy. Hehe. It was a lot of fun, though!
On Monday, I didn't do anything until my interview ... I did research about the position online and printed out my resume on nice paper, and I also printed out some writing samples to take to them. I felt pretty confident about the whole thing - the guy who interviewed me is Eric's age so it was pretty easy to talk to him. I don't have difficulty talking to a lot people. But anyway, I was in there about half an hour and he said I would hear something definitely by the end of the week. Eric came home early and we had some red beans and rice for dinner and then I headed off to choir. We learned five new songs for our Christmas concert this weekend. I love this time of year!
This morning I worked from 5:30 to 9:30 and did about 25 cakes - backups and orders. It was great. :o) Got home at 10 and Eric had decided to take a sick day, so I slept a little bit more and then we showered and came over to mom's house. We've been extremely lazy all day! In a little bit we are going to dinner (who knows where) and then to Home Depot because Eric got a giftcard from work for helping with something and we are going to buy some nice Christmas lights.
I am in such a great mood. :o) Tomorrow mom and I are going to Wakefield Scearce (I don't know how to spell it) to look at their beautiful Christmas decorations. We went last year, too, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's about as close to Christmas at Williamsburg that we can get, so I'll take it!
