Definitely time for an update ...

SO. I'll do this with numbers ... it's easier for me.
1. The wedding was amazing and much less dramatic than I expected it to be. Everything went wonderfully and it was all beautiful. Chrissy and Jason's apartment is very nice and has lots of character. I enjoyed SO SO SO much hanging out with Ann, Katy, Sara, and Marianne. I miss them all so much and we had such a great time. I ate at IHOP twice ... we stopped at IKEA before heading home to Louisville. The weather was beautiful, and the hotel was awesome. I ate horribly - go figure.

2. Upon arriving in Louisville, Eric and I quickly headed out to Taylorsville to pick up the new addition to our family - an eight week old kitten. He is now nine weeks. :o) His name is Jack and he and Mabel are adjusting well together, although Jack is a nuisance to her. He never sits still and we have to keep him in our bathroom at night, otherwise he would jump all over our heads all night long. I took him to the vet last Friday and he got a clean bill of health. He had blood drawn, then had three vaccinations. Here is a picture of him when he finally wore himself out :
3. Work is work ... loving it for the most part. Last week I worked Tuesday through Saturday with no days off. I had Sunday off from ValuMarket, but worked at Loft on Saturday night and Sunday from 10 to 2. I also worked there last night and will be working today (another "day off") from 1 to 5. So today I got to sleep in, but don't really get to enjoy the whole day. Oh well, it's too hot to enjoy the day anyway!
4. I applied to JCC (or "KCTCS" as it's now called) to get either a Certificate or an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts. This will be part time and won't start until the spring, most likely. But I am very excited about it. :o)
5. This Sunday, I have an audition to be in Voces Novae, which is a choir in Louisville that I have known about since I joined choir at Ballard. I am nervous about the audition because I haven't vocalized in over a year, but I am hoping to get a hold of Mr. Weaver so he can help me out with that just a little bit. Plus, he knows the director of Voces Novae, so maybe he can put in a good word for me. :o)
6. Eric surprised me last night with an iPod Shuffle; it is bright pink and has my name inscribed on the back. Hehe. I love it and went running with it this morning. Thank you, my love. :o)
7. Eric went rafting last weekend - forgot to mention that. So I was by myself, but I worked so much that I didn't have much time to notice that he was gone ... except for when I went to bed and slept alone.
8. Grandma's house on Limerick is experiencing lots of changes. I don't have pictures of everything, but the backdoor has been bricked up and you can't even tell that there was a door there. The window in the kitchen now has french doors.
That's it, I guess. I'm off to shower.

2 Observations or Opinions:
Jack is so cute! I copied that picture and sent it to my mom! She still calls him Larry; it's funny.
My goodness! Your kitten has the coloring and markings of my cat, Alex! I wonder if they are related?
