Happy One Year and Seven Month Anniversary to us!
Okay, so we don't really count the months, but it just happens to be the 23rd and I thought about it. Eric's parents are on vacation out west and we received a very lovely card in the mail from them today with a $50 bill. The card reads:
Dear Eric and Katherine,
While we are on vacation, here is a little something, so you can have a night out, too. Hope you all do something enjoyable.
Love, Mom and Dad.
Isn't that sweet? So, we are going to Outback whenever he gets home. I would love to go somewhere more fancy, but if I can't enjoy it and eat whatever I want, then I'd rather go somewhere where I know exactly what to get and how many points it is.
Work today was really busy - there are only 3 of us every day this week except for Wednesday. Little Sara is on vacation again, and Boss Sara is leaving on Thursday morning for vacation. I am leaving Thursday night. Kelly has so kindly agreed to come and help us out on Thursday and Friday. Yay for Kelly! It will be nice to work with her again for a day. :o) Today I ... made cubans, baked cookies, pies, and turnovers, stocked the whole department, and put stock away. Oh, and set up the sandwich station, which doesn't take too long. After work I went straight to the gym and did 45 minutes on the elliptical. I am feeling good this week. :o) When I got home, I took a nap, and when I finally got a hold of Eric, we decided to go to dinner and I went to take a shower. He should be home in about 15 minutes and then we can go eat.
I am really looking forward to this weekend. It's going to be a lot of fun ... dramatic, but fun. :o) And plus, Chrissy and I will both be married!!! I need to write my speech. Hm. Suggestions welcome.
Seth and Jeanine are in Mexico. Playa del Carmen, to be exact. I hope they are having a fabulous time!

My brother and Sarah went to Playa Del Carmen for their honeymoon; they loved it!
