Whirlwind Weekend

I can't believe this weekend is over already!

Mom and I left on Friday after work at 3:00. We arrived at 10:30 Central time and promptly went to sleep.

On Saturday we met Jason and Chrissy at IHOP (a-maz-ing) and then showered and met them at the condo. Mom decided not to go because she didn't feel well. I felt badly about that, but ... I didn't want her to be miserable. So we drove downtown to the church (it only took almost two hours) and Jason was baptized. He is now Greek Orthodox! Haha. :o) Congrats to him. It was a little weird for me - he was rubbed down with oil by his godmother/future sister-in-law/Elizabeth and had water poured on his head. Yeah. The church is pretty, though! Very ... orthodox. After that, we had a great early dinner at ESPN Zone. SO good. We headed home and had a little break and then we all went to see "Shrek the Third" (mom included!). It was very cute. It's not as good as the first one, but I loved it, anyway.

Sunday was a very long day, too. We got up and had breakfast, showered, and went to the shower, ha, but not before going to SUPERTarget for gifts. The shower was very nice - the food was good, the game was good, and there were good times had by all. The triplets are so cute! ... Chrissy's cousins. They are almost 2, I think, but they are adorable and very well behaved. Mom and I left at 3:00 Central time and got home at 11 Eastern time. So, seven hours including a great dinner at Cracker Barrel just south of Indianapolis.

I was a little tired at work today, but not that bad. I had a lot to do and the day went by very quickly. I received a call from Ann Taylor Loft today and they offered me the job. YAY! So I am working next Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm to close (probably around 9:30 or so). Eric and I had a very nice dinner (vegan, though not on purpose) of couscous with zucchini and mushrooms and with some corn on the cob. Then we went for a long walk in Billtown Farms and we just got back.

I love home. And I am madly in love with my husband. :o)
