Sustainable Mommy

So tonight I went to my friend Guy's house for a cook out. It was a blast, and I'm sorry my lovely wife couldn't make it. I got to meet some very interesting people...many of them in politics (aides to Yarmuth and Beshear campaign) and had some great conversations. Got there at about 7:30 and I just got home at about 1:20. We sat outside until it just got ridiculously cold and people started to head out. Anyway, I could say lots, but its late and I'm tired. I was anxious to get home because Mabel was all alone, but I was surprised to find her not on the couch or her chair when i got home. So I came upstairs anyway and I guess being so late she got up on the bed by herself and was waiting for me to get home. She usually will get under the bed but I've never seen her get on the bed without us in it before. So that was sweet.

Lets see....also today: We helped move Kyle into his new place on St. Ana Louise. He swears its Stana Louise because the name is so long and its crammed onto the street sign. But I'm gonna call it St. Ana Louise because the other just sounds stupid. And then I got home...was lazy for a bit and then cuz the lawn. I also got some good water on the sod and the front halves of the yard. I sat on the porch for about 20 minutes just watching the watering and one little bird looking for worms. He found at least one so that was neat. I also tried to call D to see if she wanted to be my date for the night but she didn't answer, so she was probably still at work. Anyway, Mabel just got back from a trip to the litter box so its time for some sleep.

I kinda forgot to ask my parents to lector for Katherine tomorrow..EEk. Oh well...we'll figure something out in the morning.
