Tomorrow

Back to work tomorrow ... excited, I guess, and definitely not dreading it (which is always a good thing), but also not too anxious about it. It's work. :o)

I got a call from Ann Taylor Loft on Thursday and have been trying to decide whether I want to do it part time. I think I'm going to give it a try - just two or three nights a week. I get to dress up, I get a good discount, and it's extra money, so why not?

This weekend was great. On Friday night, we went to Elizabeth's graduation and it was so interesting. Her major is "ITP" or the Interpreter Training Program. In other words, American Sign Language. So everything was signed and also spoken during the program. It was great! There was lots of food afterwards, but all I had was a piece of cake. After the program, we went to Elizabeth's apartment - very cool - and did presents, then came home.

On Saturday we got up and went for a walk in Billtown Farms. It was a beautiful weekend, by the way. After that, we had a very healthy lunch and went to Petsmart and Home Depot. We bought Mabel a tag, finally, and a peep hole for our door. We worked on that for five minutes when we got back, and pretty much didn't do anything for the rest of the day. We had a healthy dinner, as well, and watched the "America's Next Top Model" marathon on VH1. Hehe.

Today, Mother's Day, we went for a walk in Jefferson Trace, and sat around until it was time to go to lunch with grandma and my parents at the Forum. It was very delicious, as always. :o) After that, we went to Pie Kitchen so I could sign some form and Job was there! He said that they moved him over there and moved Clarissa to Tyler Center. In the past 3 days, he's worked 38 hours! He's got everything organized now, and I guess he feels good about being there. Part of me feels badly, but it's not my fault. Anyway, it was good to see Job. Then we went to Meijer to get mom-in-law a present, and headed to my parent's house. Mom opened her gift - a DVD player - and we watched "Mean Girls." She liked the present! After the movie, it was time for dinner with the in-laws. There wasn't much that I could eat, but I dealt with it.

We pretty much just got home, and finally have a chance to relax. Diana bought a front door at a garage sale yesterday and worked on that all day - it looks good! We had our doubts, but we are definitely impressed.

I think that Eric and I have decided to focus our attention this summer on our finances - which means, no buying anything. Only paying stuff off. So ... I guess our patio will wait. We are going to live vicariously through our friends for awhile!

Shrek is on TV, so we're going to watch it.

I like that boulder. That is a nice boulder. :o)
