Rainy Derby Week

I love Derby Week - everyone is so happy. I love Kentucky! Clarissa glared at me when I started singing "My Old Kentucky Home" to the radio this morning, and she thinks it's stupid that the Derby is the biggest day in Kentucky because it's "just a horse race." On that note - ONE DAY left.
I went to ValuMarket after work and talked to Sara - I get my old schedule back. :o) So back to Wednesdays and Sundays, which I pretty much love. I'll get plenty of long weekends this summer, with all the activities that are going on, especially in July. I miss everyone there! Sara was working with Theresa, the lady from Brill (they make the icings) to make some Derby stuff. It looked like fun!
So Eric is handing out tickets at the Chow Wagon from 3 to 4 this afternoon and Diana and I were going to meet him down there, eat some food, then go to the parade. Well, it's raining and nasty and my foot still hurts. My mom thinks it's broken and that I need to go get an x-ray. I'm starting to believe her because the pain is now there all the time, not just when I'm walking. It's not a muscle pain - it's a constant pain, and sharper when I am walking. So maybe I'll do that tomorrow, if everywhere isn't closed because of Oaks!
I've been lying on the couch since 10:45 this morning - we got finished pretty early - and I haven't really eaten anything except some broken sugar cookies and a piece of bread. So, I think it's time for a meal.
I was so relieved that Jordin wasn't sent home last night! The top four are all really really good - Jordin, Blake (love the new dark hair color), Melinda, and LaKisha. AND Brittany went home on ANTM, which I was happy with, because she was getting on my nerves.
Okay, FOOD.

1 Observations or Opinions:
Tell that bitch to kiss your sweet Kentucky ass; that's what I would say to any Masshole up here who told me that the derby was "just a horse race." Ha! Wish I was there right now!
