Mixed Emotions

Today as my mom and I were driving to Schlotzsky's for lunch, we passed by the several strip malls that line Springhurst, and one of the banners said "Coming soon, Homemade Icecream and Pie Kitchen, Now Hiring." So that got me thinking ... it's worth asking, right? I mean, they do tons of baking and decorating, so why not ask? So I did, and I have an interview tomorrow with the manager at 3:30. The pay is more, the hours are 4am to noon (doesn't bother me), I'll be off Sunday and Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday, and it's ALL baking and decorating ... no serving lunch, no doing nasty dishes, no sandwich station, no slicing meat ... no CUSTOMERS! So it sounds good, but I hate to leave my current job. I do love the people I work with and I like the company, but this is a chance to do what I love, one hundred percent, and get paid more doing it. We'll see what the manager says tomorrow. Oh, and it would be in a brand new building, too ... no more nastiness. Brand spankin' new.
In other news, I gained 0.6 pounds this week. Boo friggity hoo.
Work tomorrow will be interesting because I'm going to try not to think about my future. I'm not going to mention it to anyone until I know something for certain.
I'm going to watch LOST now. I don't feel too good and I'm at home watching it - I was at Jason and Lauren's for a few hours, but I came home. I had a good time, though. Pizza was good, too. :o)
Ugh. I don't know what to do or how to feel.
