Loving it

I love having days off. Haha. Who doesn't? I probably won't be off again until next Tuesday, but hopefully then everything will be back to normal and I'll have my regular days off - Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm getting ready to head out the door and go do a Pilates class with mom.
When Eric got home yesterday we picked up some Subway and headed down to Waterfront. It was WONDERFUL. We sat there for about an hour, I guess - the traffic was loud, but the temperature was perfect and the river was pretty. We need to do that more often. Afterwards we took Bardstown Road home and got some Starbucks. We got some groceries at Kroger and then watched "Next Top Model" and headed to bed.
Congratulations to Eric's cousin Doug and his wife Gentry on their new baby girl, Searcy Emerson. I LOVE that name Emerson ... for a boy, though. It sounds kind of old-world to me, but in a good way.
Yesterday when Eric was tilling up the rocks in the backyard, some dude who works for McBride stopped his big truck and asked Eric if he would like to have his yard tilled with the big machine. HELL YES. It's really hard work because the ground here kind of stinks. So that's a big relief to Eric, although he had almost half of it already finished. With the rocks that he dug up already, I lined our flower beds in the front yard and next to the garage. I need to power wash them because they are kind of dirty, but it still looks cool, I think.
Alright, gym time.
It's supposed to be another beautiful day!
