Happy Groundhog Day!
I am in Chicago and it's about 9 degrees outside, but there is snow on the ground and the sun is shining. It's beautiful. I got here last night at 8:45 - my flight was a bit horrendous. I was sitting next to this guy and we didn't talk at all (we both read), but these two women behind us talked the ENTIRE time and this kid in front of us kept smacking his tray really hard. The guy next to me had a Heineken and we kept giving each other these looks like "OH MY GOD, SHUT UP!!!" Anyway, I am here and we are going to do some shopping and do some wedding stuff today. I am pretty excited. :o)
I apologize for my lack of posts in the last week; I have become preoccupied with the new feline love of my life, our cat Mabel. She is wonderful and I can't imagine not having her. She snuggles with me with I get home from work and doesn't mess up anything in the house and she is perfect for us. I will post a picture soon - she is also very pretty and very soft.
Sara and Jeff got back to work on Monday, so work this week was better than it has been. Although yesterday was not much fun because we were so damn busy, and Sara asked "What is going on?!?" I answered, "Sara, this is what it was like every day while you were gone."
Life is good right now.
