The Nutcracker was wonderful - I loved it! I especially loved the kids who were smacking on Skittles the entire time right behind us. Seriously, though, it was great. :o) Afterwards we went to dinner at J. Alexander's where it took me 20 minutes to eat one bite of my tuna burger. I had some fries and a nice bowl of soup, too, and we also had some chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. It was very nice. We went home afterwards and didn't do much the rest of the night except watch tv and look at stuff online. I looked at information about starting a cake decorating business and what it involves - if I could just take some classes, I know that I could get a lot better. It would be so great if I could actually do this, but it is a long ways down the road right now.
On Sunday morning we went to church and then McDonalds for a milkshake and some fries. I decided to make a cake later in the day, so I did that and the icing that I tried to make looked like cottage cheese so I went to Walmart half an hour before they closed on Christmas Eve. Craziness. We had some Chinese food for dinner and then my parents and grandma came over for presents and good times. My mom gave me some Chanel Chance (I've worn it before) and Eric gave me some pajamas from Victoria's Secret. :o) They stayed until 10 or so and we were going to go to the Christmas Eve service somewhere, but we were too tired. Ho Ho Ho.
On Christmas morning I got up and made Eric breakfast - cinnamon toast, and I also made some eggs and biscuits. We showered and went to his house where we sat for a while and opened presents and had lunch at 1:00. We had cornish game hens, mashed potatoes, rolls, cranberry sauce, carrots, and broccoli. It was delicious, although it took me a long time to eat because of my teeth. We left there around 3 and headed to my mom and dad's house. We ate around 6, I think, with my parents, grandma, Ron, and Eric and myself. It was very pleasant. We opened presents and had some dessert, then left to come home around 9 or so. All around, it was a very nice Christmas. :o)
I did NOT want to be at work on Tuesday morning. It was a slow day and I kept myself busy ... after work, though, was great. Eric and I went to the mall and SHOPPED! JC Penney is my new favorite store, haha. Just kidding, but it's still great. We got Eric 4 shirts there and a pair of pants! I got some Clinique stuff at Dillard's and I tried on jeans at Ann Taylor Loft with no luck. We went to the other mall where I got some jeans at Gap and Eric got another shirt and a nice sweater from Eddie Bauer. We raced over to QDoba for dinner at 7 to meet Greta, Marianne, William, and Molly. I love our friends. :o) After dinner at some ice cream at Cold Stone (we didn't eat any, though), we went to see "The Holiday." It was pretty sappy, and the high schoolers behind us were jerks (I said something to them because they wouldn't shut up), but I loved the movie anyway. Got to bed around midnight.
Surprisingly, I was not that tired at work yesterday. I was pretty productive, too - I did orders, backups, cupcakes, and Skateworld cakes, as well as go pick up the bread from Outer Loop. After work Eric and I took a short nap, then went to Noah's Ark Pets where we saw the CUTEST Pug puppies. I can't get their cute little faces out of my head - they were just too cute. But we can't get anything until we get a fence. :o( Oh well. After that we went to Target out by Jefferson Mall where we picked up some storage totes for our Christmas stuff. We had a VERY nice dinner at a somewhat ghetto Red Lobster - I really enjoyed my crab legs and our waitress was really good. Lastly, we went to Kroger to stock up on dinner and basic stuff since we hadn't done that in such a long time. When we got home, we worked on the crossword puzzle and I quickly fell asleep on the couch after that.
Eric is at the dentist this morning getting the last thing done for his root canal. He said he's going to be there two hours or something! That stinks. I hope it doesn't hurt him too much. I am going to lay here in bed and work on stuff for Terena because it just needs to be done. Tonight we are going to Bravo with the whole family because Trent and Pam are in town with the kids. Woohoo! I LOVE it there. :o)
