Monday at today at work were really good - busy, but good. I have all the cakes for the weekend iced so I will be all caught up when I go back into work on Friday ... unless we are bombarded with more requests for cakes for this weekend, but I don't think that will happen.
After work yesterday, I went to the gym and did 45 minutes on the elliptical. Then I headed to Kroger and purchased some meat for a pot roast and some other ingredients that I needed, as well as some oatmeal, strawberry jelly, some cereal, and some Oreo snackpacks. I came home and threw all the stuff together for the pot roast, hoped it would come out alright, and put it in the oven for two hours. Eric and I were pretty hungry by the time it was done, but it was really good and I was pretty proud of myself, I have to say. :o) We fell asleep on the couch around 9, I think, and next thing I knew, it was morning.
Went to the gym after work today, as well, and now I'm home and I was watching Bill Clinton on "Ellen." He's such an awesome guy. I don't care what anyone says - anyone who believes that George W. Bush is a better president than Clinton was needs a serious wake up call.
No work until Friday! Yay!
