Yesterday was a pretty good day. Mom and I had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and we sat very close to two other groups of people ... it was a bit uncomfortable, but the pizza was good! I tried a new pizza - Thai Chicken. Schmeckt sehr gut. We went to the other mall and looked at shoes, and I finally got some Danksos!!! I've wanted them for so long. I bought the left shoe and my mom bought the right shoe, haha. Thanks mom. From there we pretty much just went home (to her house) and watched tv for awhile, and then I came back home. Eric got home shortly after I did and we waited around until it was time to go to Steve's for LOST. It was a very good episode. :o)
We had kind of a rough time going to bed because we were talking about kids and planning and saving ... I have nothing further to say on this subject.
We both had an email from Eric's mom this morning about Mamaw. She has been in the hospital for a few weeks and the doctor said that she will most likely not be coming out. She has infections and all sorts of things, not to mention Parkinson's. So she said that we should go over and say our goodbyes. :o( We are going to go this evening when Eric gets home ... which should be soon.
Work was good today, but I didn't have time for lunch again. It was totally fine, though, because I was doing cakes almost all day. I did all of the cakes for tomorrow and all of the cakes for Saturday, except for Skateworld. Here are two of the cakes I did today, although the first one is just cupcakes!
And here are the pictures of the mantel and a cool thing I got at Target that I painted and hung next to the door:
