Sustainable Mommy

Yesterday morning when I got to work, I talked to Dawn, and this is what I said:

I got a new job. I really contemplated whether to take it or not because by leaving here I sort of feel like I'm quitting because I haven't been here very long. I decided that life is too short to be unhappy, so I'm taking the job.

Dawn completely understood. She knew I was having issues with the job, so I'm sure it wasn't totally unexpected for her. Friday is my last day ... mom wants me to call in so I can go to St. James with her. I'm considering it. :o) I mean, what's it really going to hurt? I'm never going back to Humana, so it won't matter. The only way I can see it is if I need a job reference. If things go the way I want them to go (which happens only sometimes), then I will be at Valumarket for awhile and I won't need one for awhile. So yeah.

Last night Eric and I had some dinner and watched some episodes of "Lost." Tonight is the premiere. YAY! We went to bed early and I am very happy that today is Wednesday. Should be a good day.
