On Tuesday after work I went to workout and to Target to buy a book or two and I also bought two tops and a skirt. I am returning the skirt but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
On Wednesday morning I took Jason and Eric to the airport on my way to work. After work I met mom at Mark's Feed store and had some ribs and they were not as good as I thought they were going to be. Still, they were good. Famous Daves is still winning in that department. From there we stopped at home and then went to Lowe's where I bought a beautiful (and not too expensive) chandelier for the kitchen and also some curtains. We managed to get the chandelier up that night, although the cord was too long. But Eric fixed it this morning and now the chain and the cord are the perfect length and it looks very nice.
I had a bad day at work on Thursday, but it's too lengthy to go into on here and no one would probably understand anyway, but let's just say that I got stuck with some bad calls and I didn't handle them well afterwards. During them it was fine, but ... yeah, it doesn't matter. So I left work on a sour note and mom said that Jeanine's parents were driving through, so she told me to meet her at the house. I got there and she wasn't there; she was already at QDoba. So, that was the cherry on top of a perfect day (it's not your fault mom, don't worry about it), and I just went inside and cried for awhile. Then I decided to go home instead of waiting to see them because I wasn't in the mood to see people. So I took Hurstbourne and called Diana to see if she wanted to get dinner. She said sure so I got there a little after six and she was waiting to "deliver" a car. It took forever and mom called while I was there and said she wanted to come meet us. So we finally went to White Castle around 7:30 and it was really good. I love eating there. Some people think it's disgusting, and I guess I've sort of grown up loving it and seeing it sort of like a Louisville thing, so it doesn't bother me at all. After that I came home and studied for my 350 medical term test the next day.
First thing Friday morning we took the test, but we didn't get them back until the afternoon. I got 349 out of 350 and I am so mad at myself. It's not because I forgot that one term; it's because I studied it incorrectly. GRRRR. And half of the class failed and they are getting to retake the test, but he won't let me retake it. It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I really want the certificate that you get when you get all of them right. It's really not fair that everyone else gets to take it again and he won't let me. Oh well. I picked Eric up at the airport and was very happy to see him, although I needed to relax from the stressful end of the week that I had. We had Taco Bell for dinner and didn't do anything the rest of the night. It was great.
We slept until 9:30 this morning and I was going to go tan and talk to Cameron about the whole leak situation, but Cameron wasn't there today and the girl at SuntanCity wouldn't let me tan because I didn't have my "eyewear," so it was a frustrating morning. Eric fixed the chandelier, though, and now he's working on putting up the new curtains. I am getting ready to have lunch and then I don't know what we are going to do the rest of the day. It is so nice outside but I don't know what we can do. Perhaps we will finally mow the yard. We'll see.
