No traffic problems this morning, thank goodness. That was a welcome sight on a Monday morning. The day went by fairly quickly and we learned lots of new things, so that's always good. I did get my new parking pass and the guy hassled me on the way out of the Ali Garage, saying I needed to get a ticket that morning in addition to scanning my card. How the hell was I supposed to know that? Grr. But tomorrow I get to park in the LG&E garage right across the street. Yay!
Traffic on 64 on the way home was not too much fun, but at least we were moving. We went about 30 all the way to the Watterson, at which point I decided to exit and go to Kohls to look for some tops. I found some, but nothing spectacular, so I headed home. For dinner we had pasta (surprise surprise) and I had some applesauce and a piece of bread. I've been on a hiatus since I started work last week, but I'm back on track now. After that surprising scale reading on Saturday morning, I am more than sure that I can reach my goal of 150. Too bad I can't actually keep going to Weight Watchers due to lack of time, but I fully intend to keep to the plan. It works for me, even if it does go slowly.
I went to the gym and just got home, and Eric is painting the stairwell. Go him. I am tired! And now, a quote from Jurassic Park, because I'm watching in on AMC right now (does that make anyone else feel old? - a movie from 1993 is on AMC!)
"God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates Man. Man destroys God. God creates dinosaurs" ... "Dinosaurs eat Man. Woman inherits the earth." Hehe. Good times. :o)
