I'm always glad when Monday is over. The day went by pretty quickly, and after work we had cajun tilapia, boiled potatoes, and zucchini for dinner. It was really good. :o) Then I went to work out, and we just got back from a walk through two of the new estates that are being built right now. They are huge.

Driving 25 miles to and from work every day makes me notice drivers so much more than I normally do. I mean, I notice drivers and how inconsiderate they are every day, but now ... it's so bad. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I just wish I could stop driving forever. Here are my top five pet peeves about drivers:

1. Racing ahead in the open lane during a traffic jam and then wanting me to let them over once they've reached the point of no return
2. People who ride my ass when they can see I am being held up by someone, too. PATIENCE people.
3. People who ride my ass when I'm already going almost ten over the speed limit. How fast do you want to go? Or at least pass me - but do NOT pass me on the right!!!
4. People who don't let you over because they're going too much over the speed limit and are too inconsiderate to let you in.
5. Drivers who do not use their turn signals. This is my number one pet peeve and I see it a million times a day - it's especially aggravating in heavy traffic when people just assume I will let them over and then I have to slam on my brakes when the come on over anyway. Also when people put on their brakes and slow way way way down and I have no idea why they are slowing down until they finally turn on their signal WHILE they are turning. Or they don't turn it on at all. I really wish that I had a loudspeaker on my car so I could yell obscenities at people. Instead I just yell at them in my car. Haha.

I really think that I am a very considerate driver. I always use my turn signal and do not cut people off. I go about five over the speed limit ... not enough to get noticed by the police, especially since people are flying by me at 85 when the speed limit is 65. Maybe when people realize that the faster they go, the more gas they are using, they will slow down. But probably not. Drivers will continue to frustrate me and I will continue to vent about it on here. That's what it's for, right?

Agenda for tomorrow ... work, home, and that's it. Good times.

Hey sis!

I think you meant when drivers pass you on the right. And, I think you should change the title of your blog to "good times." ;-)

Wish you had been here with mom and dad...we had a good time. Jeanine commented this evening about how empty and quiet the house was this evening. Can't wait to see you along with everyone else.

Oh, have you bought the new PSB cd yet...you can get it at Target since it is on Rhine (record label). Jeanine and I are seeing them on Oct 22 here in Dallas. Tickets are very pricy this time around.

Talk to you soon!
