Sustainable Mommy

Friday was pretty great. I got to work with no problems, and the day went by pretty quickly. I learned a lot and it was good times all around. The only thing that ticked me off was the quiz that we had at the end of the day. We had to answer different questions and create screens to precertify some patients, and I got a 95%. The question I missed was "What is the call in number?" That is, if you are going to be late or if you are sick, what's the number. Now, when he told us this number on Tuesday, he told us to write it down or put it in our cell phone, so I put it on a piece of paper and it's in my car at this very moment. David's response was, "Well everyone else got it right." I wanted to say "Yeah, and when everyone else gets sick, they're not going to be able to call in because the number is at work and not at home so they can actually call!" I was pissed. But oh well. It's not that big of a deal, but it still made me pretty mad. These quizzes are going to go in our "file" and I also wanted to say, "So I guess I won't be getting a raise because I don't know the call in number!" ... because our raises are based on how well we do. But anyway, enough about that ...

We had chicken and tater tots for dinner last night (gotta love the tots), then watched tv until the cable went out. That was a good storm last night. I made some cookies and we watched "Office Space" before going to bed.

"It's not that I'm lazy; it's that I just don't care. See, it's a problem of motivation ... if I work my ass off and Initech ships a couple of extra units, I don't see another dime. So where's the motivation?"

Such a great movie.

I worked out this morning after Eric left to go help Zarek move into his condo. I weighed 163.0 this morning and I'm not sure why because I haven't been doing very well this week. Oh well, I'll go with it. I'm not complaining. :o) So Ferris Bueller is on and I'm just going to sit here and watch it until Eric gets home.
