Friday pretty much lasted forever ... but the cookout was successful, and I just had to keep reminding myself that it was the last Friday I would ever have to work at the bank. :o) Greta came over after work and we went to McAlister's for dinner where I had a ham pita and a cup of chicken and dumpling soup. It was really good! After dinner we all went for a walk with Diana and Joe and Murphy (the two dogs), then sat around watching TV for awhile. Good times.
Yesterday morning I got up at 8:00 and went to workout. A little while later, Eric and I went to Hannah's to feed her kitten and play with her a litte bit because they are out of town until Tuesday, then we got my oil changed and talked to the people at Oxmoor Toyota about getting a lower payment. Basically, we just need to wait a little while longer ... I love my car, but we shouldn't be paying so much. They had a cookout at the Toyota place, as well, so yay for free lunch! We met the in-laws at Sears and bought a garage door opener, then came home. I took a two hour nap for lack of something better to do, and then we showered and went to Louisville Pizza Company with Diana. Their pizza was fantastic and I think we might be going there often. It's a great place. Back at home, Diana and I looked at funny videos on YouTube.com and Eric and I pretty much went to bed at 10:30 like every other night.
This morning I didn't get up until 8:30 and I went to workout. While I was gone, Eric went to feed the kitten and when I got home we watched HGTV and had some lunch. Now we are waiting around for Diana to finish painting/planting and then we are going to go to the pool at her apartment (she's not living there anymore, but someone is living in her apartment using her lease). I'm excited ... haven't been to the pool yet this summer!
I had WEIRD dreams last night. First, I dreamed that someone gave me some LSD while I was driving (we saw a show yesterday on VH1 about the invention of drugs and LSD was one of them), then Eric and I were on a Disney cruise and it was all very weird.
I keep thinking "Ugh, I have to go to work tomorrow," but it hopefully won't be too busy because lots of people will be out of town, and it's also my last day and then I have six days off. Good times. :o) I plan to go to the doctor and also to get my haircut during those days. I think our mini-vacation idea got put on hold ... oh well. The cruise in the fall will make up for it!
