So much has happened in the past week. It will be difficult to write about it all.
Tuesday: Work was crazy, but it went quickly, and that God Judy was there, because otherwise it would have been a lot worse. After work I went to Dillards because mom found a table for us. It was a floor sample and very much on sale. So we bought it and then mom took us to dinner at Martinis. We packed the rest of the night.
Wednesday: Walkthrough during lunch, then left work at 3:45 for the closing. Everything went well. Weighed in on our way to the house and I lost 1.8 pounds, then once at the house we bought in the kitchen table and went to dinner with my mom and Jason and Lauren. Good times. We played card games the rest of the night and went to bed early on the living room floor.
Thursday: Work lasted forever, and I enjoyed the storm that passed throught at 3:30! Went to dinner at Beef O'Brady's and didn't really do much the rest of the night.
Friday: Got up and went to job interview in Indiana. Good interview, weird lady. I hope I get a call about it. The rain was awful! But good for our grass! Met Diana and Eric for lunch at Cheddar Box Cafe, got my drivers license, got paint and painted our living room, then went to P.F. Changs for Marianne's goodbye dinner. Good times. Went over to the apartment afterwards and packed up and got it ready for Saturday, then got back home and worked on sermon pictures until midnight.
Saturday: Got to U-Haul at 8:00 and they didn't open until 9. Hm. So we went to mom's house and took the bed apart then mom and Eric went to pick up the truck. Loaded stuff all day long, made probably 25 trips up and down the stairs at the apartment. Good times. Met Frank Otte guy at house at 12:30 and he planted our tree. Had lunch then unpacked the truck. Went to Lowe's with Jason, Lauren, and Kyle, where we bought mini blinds and put one of them up but didn't like it. Went to dinner at Chili's with everyone and Diana, then went home and worked the rest of the night.
Sunday: Went to early service where I read in German. Wahoo. Back to apartment to clean really well, then back to house for lunch and to get blinds to return. Out to Lowe's where we got new blinds and then had our apartment inspection. All was well, no fees or anything. Yay! Back to house to put up new blinds/clean until cookout at Jason and Lauren's. Yay for hilbilly golf! Had dinner and then came home and unpacked the whole night. We got so much done! I unpacked the bedroom and the kitchen is all done, and most of the boxes are empty now. It's starting to feel like home.
Now I must go to work. :o( I wish that I could stay here.
