Getting better

Things are hopefully on the upswing around here. Duncan actually went to bed without a fuss tonight, which hasn't happened in over a week, and I'm not feeling as down. I do have a sinus headache today, but I'm trying to ignore it. There is so much sickness going around, it seems. Makes me almost want to stay home until spring.
Today I am 29 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Had an appointment today (starting to go every 2 weeks now) and baby is head down! Heartbeat was in the 150s, blood pressure was 120/60, and I'm measuring right on track. Very happy about all of this, even though I had to venture to Salem alone today. My mom has a stomach virus, and my dad was afraid he was going to get it, so we played it safe and Eric stayed home with Duncan while I was gone. It worked out well since Duncan went down for a nap right after I left, and got up very shortly before I got home.
Duncan will be TWO YEARS OLD on Sunday. Um, what? Can't believe it. That means that next year he will be three, and then four ... wow. Sometimes I still wake up in the middle of the night and can't believe I'm "mommy." We're having a small playdate/party tomorrow with friends, and then getting together with Eric's family on Sunday.
Time to relax and watch "Four Weddings." It's a guilty pleasure.
