This is my 700th post. Wow!
My new glasses came in today, so I picked them up with my mom during Duncan's nap:
I like them a lot! Will take a real picture soon.
Parent-child was great this morning. Duncan actually sat in my lap for circle time and story time, and he laid down for rest time. First time he's ever done that. Also, we played outside for the last 20 minutes of class, all bundled up, and Duncan did not want to leave. He was having a great time playing outside in the 29 degree weather. It was pretty cute! He even kept his mittens on - never done that before, either.
We sent in our deposit for preschool for Duncan next year. Eric and I are excited about it, but my mom thinks he's still too young. I was 2 years and 11 months when I started preschool. Duncan will be 2 years and 6 months. Not much difference. :o) Plus, I think he'll really enjoy it. During our tour he wanted to get down and play in the classrooms that we visited. It's still 9 months away, too, so I know he will grow up a lot between now and then. It will be two days a week for 3 hours. I am excited to get him one of those tiny LL Bean backpacks that will have his initials on it. Hehe. The little things.
Midwife appointment tomorrow. Nervous. I'll be with my mom - Eric has a review.
