We had an awesome weekend. On Saturday, we went to Colorfest at Bernheim and Duncan LOVED it. We are thinking about getting a membership there and going more often.
I signed up for Parent-Child at Waldorf for the rest of the year (last class is on May 5th - may not make that one), and I am so excited about it. We had a good time last week. It's on Thursday mornings. There is something at Cherokee Park on Friday this week, so that will be fun, too.
There was a big GE announcement yesterday about investments into some new/current manufacturing plants, including one in Bloomington. This is extremely good news - it means Eric will not have to go to Mexico for builds anymore. I know that it may mean more smaller day trips, but that's okay with me - at least I can get in touch with him if I need to. I sort of can now, but it costs an arm and a leg, and he's a whole day of flights away from home.
We got some Waldorf playstands on craigslist this weekend! So excited to set them up! Also very excited to start planning/working on Duncan's new room. We want to have it finished by the end of the year so we can make the transition for him slowly, but we're hoping it's not going to be a big deal - he sleeps at my mom and dad's just fine, so I don't think another room in our house will be a big deal.
Heading to music class this morning, and then having lunch with friends. Not sure what the afternoon holds - hopefully a long nap and good temperament. :o)
