Weekend

Yesterday morning, we took part in the Heart Walk downtown - we mainly did it because Eric is a part of this health thing at work (like he's unhealthy, haha), but he gets 'miles' for doing things, and the more 'miles' you have, the more money you can make. He's all about that. So, this Heart Walk earned him some miles. He's wearing a pedometer everyday, too. After the walk, we stopped at Heine Brothers for some pumpkin spice decaf latte (for me) and a hot chocolate for Eric and Duncan, along with a  bagel and pumpkin muffin. Back at home, we all napped, then headed to Playthings to get Duncan some more Legos. We've lost and/or misplaced most of the ones we have, and some of them stay in the car, too, so we thought it was a good time to expand his collection.

Duncan had a hard time sleeping last night, so none of us slept very well. Hopefully the long nap he is currently taking will remedy the situation tonight. This morning, I went to Locus Grove with Duncan and met my mom there for an antiques fair. It was interesting! A little chilly, though (which I LOVE), and I was not dressed warmly enough. Still, we had a nice time. Right now I am waiting for Duncan to wake up so we can head to Doulapalooza - an event at Willow Park to learn about doulas, meet doulas, learn about other birth-related stuff, hear some good music, and reconnect with people. Good times. :o)

Slightly busy week ahead, but looking forward to next weekend most of all - St. James, midwife appointment, birthday festivities (27 sounds so old), and Chrissy is visiting! So excited!
