It's been a day full of babies!
A girl I know from high school had a baby early this morning. Congratulations to her!
My sister in law, Elizabeth, delivered a baby girl at 4:32 this afternoon at a birth center in North Carolina. Don't know any more details, but so excited for her, too!
I attended Moms' Group this morning and it was a Q&A session with one of the homebirth midwives in Louisville. Lots of birth talk and baby talk there.
Then randomly, I had 2 people send me messages on Facebook tonight. I love being able to talk about birth and try to help people. I think I've chosen the right career path. :o)
In other news, Lady Gaga in coming to Louisville in March. I really want to go! I know people have mixed feelings about her, but here is my take. First, she is talented. She can SING and play the piano, and she writes her own music. Second, her music and actions have purpose. She does not wear crazy outfits simply to wear crazy outfits. It's like trying to figure out a poem - you know there's something there, but it's hard to figure out. And I love it.
