Good news/Bad news

Good news: Eric arrived home safely!
Bad news: He's going back for a week right after Easter.
Good news: We'll get a new (free) refrigerator from it.
Good news: Voces Novae rocks.
Bad news: We have no money and we have to raise $8000 or we won't have a choir next year.
Good news: I've raised over $200!
Good news: Duncan is very close to walking!
Bad news: He's growing up too fast.
Good news: Duncan is very close to walking. :o)
Good news: Spring is in the air.
Bad news: We have a long to-do list!
Good news: We're hopefully painting our cabinets this weekend, thanks to GE's generosity (Eric received a $100 gift card to a store of his choice - we chose Lowe's - for helping with a big project at work).
Good news: I feel healthy.
Bad news: I found out something last week, health-wise, that was not good news.
Good news: It's treatable, and I most likely will not have to "deal" with it for at least 20 years ... and that's all I'm willing to share about it right now.
Good news: I love my life and I am happy.
Bad news: There's nothing bad about that!
Good news: That's all. :o)

Way to use the "Bad news Sandwich" management technique. Wrap it up in good news and it doesn't sound so bad. "Great job last week, By the way you are fired, I love that new watch!."
