Sustainable Mommy

Friday was a really nice day. I met my parents at Winston's for lunch and we really enjoyed our meal. Afterward, we toured Farmington - it's a farm in Louisville whose owner, Joshua Speed, was good friends with Abraham Lincoln. Pretty interesting! Back at home, I took a nap until Eric got home, and then we went to visit the new baby! I will put up the pictures soon ... but I'd have to go out to the car to get the USB cord for the camera since it's packed in our bags. :o) But Coralie is precious. She slept the whole time we were there and I loved holding her. They went home yesterday and I emailed with her a few times - she said that things are going just great! So that's good to hear!

Saturday, we had Class 11 of 12. We made our bracelets (each person brought a bead and we wear it until each person has their baby; we can also use it as a breastfeeding bracelet so we can remember which booby we're on) and then met mom at the mall for lunch. I got my walking in for the day, then we went back to mom and dad's to be lazy for the rest of the day. I took a nap while Eric watched the UK game and we had a nice dinner. When we got home, we rearranged our bedroom to make it more "playard friendly," and we washed our sheets. We fell asleep watching "Jurassic Park."

Yesterday was pretty much the laziest day we've had in a really long time, but we're trying not to feel guilty about it. :o) We didn't get out of bed until 11:00 or so. We did vacuum the whole house and do laundry, but other than that we watched tv and slept. Craziness. But it was nice and we're not taking it for granted!

My appointment today is at 10:45 ... hopefully we'll have some good news. :o) I can feel the baby getting bigger by the day!
