Weekend

We had a great weekend, and it was a lot busier than I expected it to be! Friday night, I had dinner with Janna and Ashley at Cheddar's, and then we saw "Bride Wars." It's the first movie I've seen in the theater since July. I enjoyed it, though!
Saturday's class was good ... always interesting. Headed to mom and dad's afterward to eat some of their leftovers from the party. We watched a movie while we were there called "Then She Found Me." It was pretty dramatic, but it had a good cast. We met Diana at Olive Garden for dinner, which was really nice. Hadn't seen her in a few weeks. Then we went to Target and got a few things.
Sunday, I met Ashley at her house at 11:30 and we drove to the Bridal Expo at the Brown & Williamson Club at Papa John's stadium. It was mainly to get ideas because her wedding will most likely be in Mississippi. Still, we had a lot of fun! Then we had lunch at Panera at Oxmoor and walked around the mall for a little while. I did a lot of walking yesterday and I was pretty worn out when I got home. Last night we watched the Golden Globes and went to bed. Whew!
Today, doctor appointment was very uneventful. Gained one pound since last week, blood pressure was down from last time (yay!), measuring right on time, and heartbeat sounded good. Grow little boy, grow! She asked me if anything was happening, and I had to answer no ... it's not that I'm in a rush, but I wish my body would do SOMETHING to let me know that I'm nearing the end! Maybe having to get up 3 times a night is the only signal I'm going to get for now. I guess that's okay. :o)
Went to mom and dad's after the appointment today and took a nap. Had a small lunch and then went to a few places. Now I'm back home, waiting for Eric ... he had some all-afternoon technology update thing, so he may be a bit late. I have choir tonight, as well.
It's supposed to snow tonight and be kind of nasty in the morning - I won't be going anywhere tomorrow, probably, but maybe Eric will be stuck at home, too. That would be nice. :o)

2 Observations or Opinions:
Wow, it's 65 here and I just Liam on a walk! Kind of wish it was cold but then we would be stuck in the house all day(I don't take him out in the cold)! Are you going to let Dr. Graves check you ever? It would drive me nuts not knowing if I had progressed any! I understand the disappointment too if nothing has happened. Have a great night! Enjoy your last few weeks of peace and quiet!!!! Get rested up for the fun, it really is fun:)
She's going to check me if we hit 40 weeks and nothing's happened. Honestly, I would like to know if I'm dilated or anything, but some people are dilated for weeks before they go into labor, and others aren't dilated at all and then go really quick. So I'm just trying to avoid the "impatience" factor that I get caught up on. :o)
