Sustainable Mommy

I left work around noon yesterday - business is slowing down now. YAY! Eric's not too happy about it, but I am thankful because sitting in my chair for 8 hours a day is not comfortable anymore. I went over to mom's and we went to World Market. I got some good deals there, and then we had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. Always enjoyable ... except for the extremely rude group of teenage girls at the booth not too far from us. People complained about them and they still didn't shut up. Grr. Anyway, we had a nice time at the mall and headed home around 4:00.

I wasn't too hungry for dinner since we had lunch at 2:00, so I just had a bowl of cereal around 6:00. Dr. Hickey came over to give Mabel her checkup; he is hilarious. Mabel wasn't too scarred, I don't think. :o)

I also got to talk to Chrissy last night - she called me and we talked for a good 45 minutes about everything. There's way too much to write down here, but let's just say that it was a great convo and I am even more excited about everything now ... if I wasn't excited enough already. :o)

The rain is really gross today - I wish I could have just gone back to bed! But I'm here at work. Who knows for how long since there is not much work to be found right now. Maybe I'll go over to mom's and sleep later. :o) Hehe. Tonight, though, we are going to Robley's for a gift exchange and dinner. Should be good times, as always. And tomorrow: class, baby shower, graduation party. Yay!
