Alexis Hill was born yesterday morning at 8:30am (central time). She was 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and 19.3 inches long.
Chrissy called me last night around 7:45. She sounded pretty groggy and tired, but the same as she always has. :o) I got teary-eyed just thinking about the fact that she has a little girl now. It's unbelievable ... kind of weird, but in a good way.
Eric and I met Abby at Starbucks last night so she could give me a shower gift since she can't make it to the shower. I never thought I'd be so excited about a breast pump. :o) We shared stories and laughed and we had a good time. They are using Bum Genius, too, for their little girl. She'll be 1 in a few weeks. Time flies.
Work has slowed down for this week. The bosses are out of town until Monday, and Lenny is on a video today. Should be a pretty relaxed day.
