Traffic

I couldn't post this morning because traffic was horrendous and it took me 45 minutes to get here. I guess people forget how to drive in the rain when we go without it for a month!
Around 4:45 yesterday, I looked down at my feet and my left ankle was twice the size of my right one. Well, I freaked and called my doctor. The triage nurse said that as long as it's not painful (that indicates a blood clot), then all I can do is elevate as much as possible and drink lots of water. Oh, and watch salt intake, too. All of these things I knew already, but it scared me that it was only one foot. She said it's because circulation is better on the right side - that's why they encourage pregnant women to sleep on their left sides, in order to encourage circulation! Interesting.
I met Eric at QDoba after work for a small dinner, and then we went to Target to scan some things into the registry. We only added a few things, but I got the new Ben Folds CD. Yay! The rest of the night, I was on the couch with my feet propped up. The ankle was better when I went to bed at 9:30. Haha. Yeah, I know I should have watched the debate, but I really wasn't in the mood. I just wanted to go to bed!
Today has gone by quickly so far. There's only one more job left over there in the rack, so I may be able to stick it out for the whole day. We'll see.
Tonight: "Baby's Mama" from Netflix. Finally! :o)
