Sustainable Mommy

Yesterday was a pretty lazy day, with the exception of a trip to Target, Lowe's, and Bed, Bath & Beyond. At Lowe's, we bit the bullet and bought the stain for the deck. We are planning to start on that tonight. The color we we got is called "Redwood Naturaltone" or something similar. It's really pretty! If I could have done it any color (and my house was in the middle of nowhere where no one would see it), I would stain it blue or green or something. Haha. At Target, we bought Eric a new pair of jeans, presents for the kids today for their birthdays, and a few other small things. At Bed, Bath, & Beyond, we returned a candle. Back at home, I took a nap while Eric washed all the bird poop off the deck to prepare it for the staining. Later, we met Robley and Janna and Blake at Pie Kitchen for some dessert, then went back to Robley's and watched "American Wedding." The movie makes me want to vomit. It's so gross and obscene. Ick. Parts of it are funny ... but overall, no way.

Eric felt the baby kick on Thursday, and he felt a really big one last night! He saw my belly move along with it, hehe. Baby was happy yesterday. :o)

Today, we're going to the Summit to use Eric's bday giftcard, and then we're going to his parents' house for our annual four-birthday celebration (me, Eric, Zachary, and Christopher). Should be fun since I haven't seen Elizabeth since her birthday and we both weren't too big at that point.
