Home Sweet Louisville

The more I leave Louisville, the more I love it when I come home. It just feels good to be here!

I had a marvelous time in Texas, though, and baby Liam is so precious. He makes faces and stretches and likes to eat, sleep, cry, and poop. That's about it. :o) Even after seeing how tiring taking care of a newborn can be, I am still as excited as ever. I absolutely cannot wait. And now that I am starting to get a belly (yep, as of today, I can't button any of my regular pants), Eric is starting to be more excited, too. It's so cute! Anyway, mom and I got in a little bit of shopping and a pedicure before we had to head for the airport on Sunday, and we arrived home last night at 10:50 or so. Props to American Airlines at the DFW airport - it was so organized. We boarded on time, took off on time, and arrived in Louisville 15 minutes before our scheduled arrival. Wahoo.

Mom and I met Eric at Red Robin for dinner tonight. I've been craving it for a few weeks now. It was yummy, but now I am really full! After dinner, we bought some outdoor curtains from Pottery Barn (best deal of the century, in my opinion!) and we headed home. He had to leave again, boohoo, to help Kyle with a dryer duct issue, but he should be home soon.

The deck looks absolutely amazing, by the way. I am so proud of him for building it himself. He is proud, too, and he should be. It couldn't have been done better by a professional deck builder! :o)

All right. I'm going to force myself to get off the bed and unpack.

Chrissy finds out if it's a boy or a girl tonight! I am so excited for her! :o)
