We did a lot of things around the house this weekend ... which we haven't done for a while.
On Saturday we headed out to Linens n Things and World Market. At Linens n Things we bought a comforter set (it's in the ad this week) - comforter, two pillowcases, two euro shams, a bedskirt and two decorative pillows. I love it! Saturday night we really didn't do much except have dinner with my mom and dad at Jason's Deli. Oh, and Elizabeth came over so we could talk Mary Kay. :o)
Sunday we woke up very early and it made the day seem very long, which was a good thing! We went to Kohls and Lowes ... at Kohls they were having a great sale. Pretty much everything was buy one get one free. I got a lovely purse (I love it!!) and then another one completely free. Then we got four pillows and two hand towels. At Lowe's we looked at deck stuff. It's going to cost us less than originally expected. I am so excited and I know that Eric is, too. :o) After a lunch at home from Moby Dick, we headed out for Home Depot, Marshalls, Deals and Meijer. We got some fun cheap stuff for the top of the cabinets since we've decided to put our pots and pans on a shelf in the corner. It looks much better. Once back at home, we put our new stuff out and then rearranged the furniture. It doesn't look as good as it will ultimately because the piano is still majorly in the way, but for now I can live with it. Anyone need a piano???
I worked out this morning and I've just enjoyed my plain oatmeal with raisins. Yummy. :o)
