We fell asleep last night pretty much sitting up in bed with all the lights off and the curtains open watching the snow fall. It was so pretty.
I woke up at 6am to get the scoop on the weather. JCPS is closed, which means that it's really bad! I decided to try to make it to work anyway, and I'm here. The roads weren't too bad. I left at 7 and got here in about 45 minutes. It's just icing right now - the trees are pretty, but I know that it's treacherous to be out right now. I'm glad I'm here and that I'm warm! Too bad there's no fireplace in here ... haha.
It's been a week since my surgery.
Don't know if Jesica will be coming over tonight since the weather is not going to get much better. It's supposed to rain for a while and then turn back into snow this afternoon.
