Sustainable Mommy

I'm going to have to get used to that, I guess. Tuesday is now my Monday, and Saturdays are now my Friday. Eric and I are going to go camping, I believe, on Labor Day weekend. It all depends, though, on the WorldFest that ValuMarket has something to do with down on the Belvedere. We'll see. I would like to go, though. :o)

Work was okay today. It was busy, and there were only three of us. I'm getting used to that, though. I long for the days when there were five of us. I didn't leave until 2:35 or so. Yay for overtime.

I am on call tomorrow at Loft from 6 to close, but it's just for shipment, so I don't mind going in at all. I like opening the next boxes, hehe. Plus, I don't have to look nice. I'm working there for real, though, on Thursday and Saturday nights. Chrissy is coming in town for practically 24 hours, so we'll have a night to hang out and that's about it. Hopefully Lindsy will be able to join us.

Jesica invited me to "Girls Night Out" at Southeast Christian tonight, so I am going to that with her. I'm looking forward to it ... I just hope it's not crazy religious stuff. Hehe. I want to become better friends with Jesica, though. I think we could be friends for a long time.

So I guess that's it. Tomorrow should be another busy day at work. Somewhere in between all of our regular stuff, we have three trays to do - one fruit and two veggie. I'll stay late and do them if I have to. That's what I did today. Derrick came up to me today and asked me "Have you all been doing things differently in the deli? Like, have different people been doing different things?" And I replied no and asked why. He said "Because everything is always stocked. There aren't any gaping holes!" And I hesitated, not wanting to sound rude, and said "Um, it's because I'm stocking stuff every day." It's nice to be noticed sometimes ...
