American Idol was good last night!
Eric and I had a talk about babies ... nothing really to say about it, though.
Work started out pretty good and I got things done quickly. Sara is back in town and I talked to her this morning - she ordered a cake for her daughter and we talked about how it's been while she was gone. There were three orders for cakes this morning that did not have a cake flavor selected, so I called all three of them, left messages for two, and one was an invalid number. The one with the invalid number was for tomorrow, so I frosted all my orders and then did that one. It wasn't five minutes after I finished that cake (it was elmo) that the lady called and said she wanted to cancel the order and move it to next Friday, as well and change the size. She kept apologizing after I said I'd already done it, and I wanted to say "Well you should be," but I kept my mouth shut. Oh well. Worked one cakes the rest of the day; lunch was not busy today at all! It was great.
Derrick told us that Valumarket is switching their 401(k) company and Kelly and I are eligible, so we got that info and we're going to sign up tonight. Yay!
So I haven't mentioned this yet on here, but Eric and I are getting a cat this weekend. We had been talking about it for awhile, but hadn't really done anything. Then, my friend Ashley from Centre updated her Facebook profile saying that they had a kitty that had "found them. So they need to find a good home for her and Eric and I are going to take her. We'll see how it goes. I've never had a cat before, but I do like them and I hope it works out well ... better than Eddie did, anyway.
