Friday was a pretty good day at work. I am feeling more and more confident every day and I am more relaxed, too. I even finished "Angels and Demons" finally. Only took me two weeks. Well, it is almost 600 pages, though. When I got home from work, Eric and I watched several episodes of "That 70s Show" and had bowls of cereal for dinner. Haha. I wasn't too hungry because of the potluck at work, so it was enough for me. We did a second coat on the bedroom walls and called it a night.
Woke up at 7:30 this morning to shower and get out to Chris and Amanda's apartment down Bardstown close to Eastern Parkway. It's a great apartment, but they are putting an offer in on a house this weekend. Very cool. Anyway, the four of us and another guy named Brian (who works at GE along with Chris and Eric) climbed into the car and drove to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. It was farther up there than I thought, but it was worth the drive. We got there at 10:30, not realizing that we'd changed into Central Time, so we were there half an hour before the park opened. Sweet. The first coaster we rode after putting our stuff into lockers was called The Legend (like our old apartment complex, aww). It was very bumpy and gave me a headache and made my back hurt. When it wasn't doing that, though, it was fun. We rode the Raven next, which is one of the top ten wooden coasters in the world, I believe. I've seen it on those shows on the Travel Channel for rollercoasters. The Raven wasn't as bumpy, but it only lasted about a minute. Boo. The last one we road is pretty new and is the third longest and third fastest wooden coaster. It's called The Voyager. We waited in line about 45 minutes for this one, I think, but it was worth it. The ride seemed to last such a long time, but it was fun and almost too much for me. I'm getting old, haha. We had lunch after that and then changed into our bathing suits for the water park. The first slide we rode had a long line, but was pretty fun. It was open and we rode in a raft - Eric, myself, and Brian. The second slide had practically no line and was fun until we reached the bottom, where I proceeded to have water go up my nose, fall off of the raft, and then have Eric slide over top of me and get more water up my nose. Good times. After that was the lazy river two times around, then the wave pool for awhile, and then the big purple closed tube where Eric and I were in a raft by ourselves. I liked that one, but it made Amanda sick a little bit. We sat in the other wave pool for awhile until the boys were tired of the waves, and then we called it a day. We changed clothes and drove home through some rain. Brian, Eric, and myself had some QDoba for dinner since we were so close, and then we came home.
We cleaned up our bedroom and the other rooms, so here are some pictures. The flash made the paint colors look a little bright, so they are not quite this vibrant - they are darker. But here they are, with our bedroom first, then the guest bedroom, then the guest bathroom.

Yay for painting. With the exception of the master bath, we are pretty much done painting for awhile.
Tomorrow: church, perhaps, then lunch at the in-laws for Elizabeth's birthday, and then something with Greta because she is in town for a few days.
Goodnight.
