Went to the Summit on Thursday night, although it was a little bit painful, but I had to get out of the house. I didn't stay for the music, although I wish I had because Nap's band played! I'm so mad that I didn't get to see him play! Mom said they were really good.
On Friday, I went to the tanning bed, visited the bank to make a deposit and pick up the cooler, then went to mom and dad's house to hang out for awhile. Went to Schlotzsky's with mom and then got all of my hair chopped off! I LOVE IT. :o) After that I came home and waited around for Eric to get home. He likes my hair, too, although that doesn't really matter. I also made a spice cake and iced it and it looked really scrumptious. That night we went to my parent's house and hung out and hung out with their neighbors. It was actually fun and I enjoyed hearing stories from some of the older people. I also enjoyed watching the baby crawl across the floor like a crab, and Noah go up to people saying "I'm three years old. How old are you?" Haha, it was so cute. We left around 9 and watched "Pirates of the Caribbean" when we got home.
Yesterday morning we saw the matinee of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It was really good, and I love the music, although it surprised me ... yes, it's a Disney movie, but that doesn not mean you can take your 5 year old to see it. The movie was full of young kids, and it was not your typical Disney movie. I enjoy finding small faults in other people's parenting skills ... is that bad? I suppose it is, especially since I'm not a parent yet! But oh well. The movie was good! During the afternoon, Eric and I painted the hallway yellow and it looks nice. Painting is FUN. Sort of. We headed over to Diana's around 6:30 and had crepes with Patrick and Kathi. They were delicious, although I only had one dinner crepe with chicken, and then one dessert one with brown sugar. I also had some bread and some nutella. MMMM. :o)
Right now, Eric is doing the media for the early service, and I am just sitting here waiting for him to get home. I think I'll get up and clean up this messy room. Maybe I'll even vacuum, too. Haha. Today I have to go to Kroger and I really want to get a Vera Bradley bag for my first day tomorrow ... we'll see about that.
