Monday
Today was actually a great day at work, but it was ridiculously busy for a Monday. The reason that it was a great day is because I feel now that I can actually answer people's questions with confidence. Also, I balanced at the end of the day, so that always makes the day a little bit more special.
Eric did not want to get out of bed this morning, and neither did I. It was so warm and ... the beginning of a week is never too much fun. But now that Monday is over, I can already see the light at the end of the tunnel. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays always fly by because we close at 4 and don't have to get there until 9. Tonight on tv - the Apprentice. And for dinner, I believe that we are going to have the leftover pork tenderloin from dinner last night, as well as some rice. Maybe some garlic bread? Not sure. I sometimes feel badly that I always get home before Eric and I leave an hour after he does, sometimes two, but then I remember how much more money he makes that I do, and I don't feel so badly anymore. If I made what he does, I wouldn't mind working longer hours, either.
I drove by the house on the way home, of course. There were guys walking around it; they looked like they were trying to decide what to do. Hm. Well I hope the decide quickly because apparently we are supposed to get snow tonight. How ironic - tomorrow is the first day of spring!
I'm going to change into my comfy clothes and then lay down with Eddie until Eric gets home. It sounds silly, but I miss him so much during the day. He is my husband and I'm allowed to miss him! The minute he gets home is the best time of the day for me - besides balancing my drawer at work. Haha. Just kidding. :o)
